At Waveney Campers, we believe in offering value with no hidden costs. That is why you will enjoy thoughtful extras like an outdoor table, chairs, a bike rack, and a Cadac Safari Chef grill at no additional charge.

Everything you need to make the most of your trip is included, with the only exception being our inflatable awning, which is available at a small extra cost for those who want even more space.

As a local family-run business, we are happy to share our tips on the best routes, campsites, and hidden gems to help make your camper van hire experience even better.

We provide an onboard cookbook filled with easy, delicious road recipes for you to enjoy during your trip.

We have got your back every step of the way. Our comprehensive insurance and UK-wide roadside assistance mean you can relax and enjoy your campervan rental, knowing that help is just a phone call away. You can also add a second driver for extra peace of mind.

Pick-up is at 10am on the first day of hire, and drop-off is at 4pm on the last day. We offer weekend, midweek, and weekly hire options. If you need different pick-up or drop-off times, just let us know and we will do our best to fit your schedule.

Acceptable Documents
  • Minimum Hire of our campervans is 3 days (7 days during summer holidays July/August)
  • Deposit of £200 payable on booking
  • Security deposit of £500
  • Road Drifter 1 – dogs are permitted*
  • Road Drifter 2 – dogs are permitted*
  • Road Drifter 3 – no dogs allowed**
  • Our campervans are strictly NO SMOKING
  • Free secure parking for your car while you are away (at your own risk)
  • We will need to see your original Driving Licence (which you must have held for 2 years) and 2 proof of address (dated within the last 3 months) when you collect the campervan
  • Fully Comprehensive Insurance for one named driver (aged 23 to 75)
  • 24 Hour Roadside Assistance (UK Only)

*If dogs are taken away in a dog friendly camper, a £25 cleaning fee is incurred by the Hirer.

**If dogs are taken away in a non-dog friendly camper, a £150 cleaning fee is incurred by the Hirer.

All our extras are free of charge! If you would like the Sun Canopy Awning, extra Chairs for outside, Table for outside, Cadac Safari Chef or Bike Rack they are all on us.

We do, however, charge for the following:-

£60 for the hire of the Drive-Away Inflatable Awning (this fee covers the entire duration of your hire).

Collection is at 10am on the first day of hire.

Drop off is at 4:00pm on the final day of hire.

Space is limited inside the campervans so we would recommend packing lightly however there are a few things we would suggest you bring along:

  • Bedding, pillows, sheets, duvet or sleeping bags, spare blankets
  • Pyjamas, towels and toiletries
  • Bin bags
  • Wet wipes
  • Torch
  • Kitchen roll
  • Food, condiments, sauces etc
  • Tea, coffee, hot chocolate
  • Some optional extras you may wish to bring: Ear plugs, playing cards or a frisbee/ball

Documents we will accept include, but are not limited to

  1. Utility bill (gas, electric, satellite television, landline phone bill) issued within the last three months.
  2. Local authority council tax bill for the current council tax year
  3. Bank, Building Society or Credit Union statement or passbook dated within the last three months.
  4. Solicitors letter within the last three months confirming recent house purchase or land registry confirmation of address.

Documents we will not accept include, but are not limited to

  • Provisional driving licence
  • Mobile phone bills
  • Credit card statements
